DSP recalled; first points for Hampus

Just chiming in with a quick post about some news that has come across the Twitter stream. First off, Devante Smith-Pelly has been recalled to the Anaheim Ducks.

DSP has had a great start to the season, netting 2 goals in 4 games including a shoot-out winner.  He’ll likely be on the team as a replacement for Dustin Penner, who is injured. This does not guarantee DSP playing time in Anaheim.

Edit: Dustin Penner was on the ice today for practice. Matt Beleskey is on the IR according to the Ducks’ website

Ads alum Hampus Lindholm  got his first NHL points last night! The  Swede helped set up goals from Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.  Lindholm and Sami Vatanen still look like they are battling it out to be candidates to stay with the team once Luca Sbisa returns.
