etem again! YONK up

Do you like Emerson Etem? Well, he’s back again, in AHL top line form!

Some unexpected news today as Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau decided to send Emerson Etem back over to Norfolk. Etem most recently played in last night’s Anaheim win against the New York Islanders.  Of the reassignment, Boudreau said that “it’s tough for a young guy to make our team.”

Ads fans will no doubt rejoice at the re-addition of Etem to the team. In his previous stint, he scored (1 G+ 4A) = 5Pts in 3 games. With an up-and-down offense, his knack for the net will be much appreciated.

YONK back to anaheim

The injury train keeps a-rollin’ out in Orange County.  Defenseman Marc Fistric is the latest addition, hurting an already thin Ducks blue line. As a result, YONK has been recalled for the Ducks. Anaheim plays Minnesota on Wednesday and Edmonton on Sunday. Fistric hopes to be ready by Sunday, but this most likely means the Ads will be without YONK for the weekend set against Springfield. As a consequence of this injury, perhaps Alex Grant could crack the lineup.

Get ready for an Exelby-Blacker pairing.

The annual Admirals toy toss will be this Friday against the Falcons.  When an Ad scores the first goal, throw your stuffed animal on the ice! Championed by fans @ShawnDulin and @CrunchThis12, you should throw a giraffe on the ice! I want to see a lot of giraffes!
