Roster cutdowns continue

The Admirals released four players from training camp today. Forwards Andrew Meredith and Michael Beaudry were on training camp try-out contracts while Andrew Radjenovic and Christophe Lalonde were both signed to standard contracts with the team. Radjenovic and Lalonde are now eligible for ECHL waivers. Beaudry, Radjenovic, and Lalonde all played in Saturday’s preseason affair against the Reading Royals. ┬áBeaudry started and picked up two helpers on both of Steven Whitney’s goals. Numbers will force several players out of the lineup before rosters are due this Wednesday.

Beaudry last played in France for Chamonix. It is unclear where he will go next. Meredith’s camp tryout was his first foray into the professional hockey after stints in the QMJHL and MJAHL. Radjenovic played 22 games with the ECHL Bakersfield Condors last year and will most likely seek another ECHL slot. Christophe Lalonde spent his entire career in the Q with a 2-game appearance for AHL Adirondack last season. He will also seek further employment in the ECHL.
